My TR4 recently started to get very hot on a short journey on further
examination and from the outpourings of steam it looked like it might
just be a dodgy cap but I left it in to be tested with an guy locally
(in his mid seventies) who only re-cores and repairs radiators. To
cut the story short, it turns out that I need to re core the rad and
my friend tells me that the Radiators with the small access hole for
the starting handles are called Wet Boxes Another small piece of
advice he gave me was to make sure to flush the heater rad aswell
before re-fitting as a lot of gak can be lodged here

PS Re cars in movies: said same TR4 has been used in the recent filming of the
new movie based on the life of Lord Lucan.
