Someone asked about converting a positive ground elec. system with a D.C.
generator into a negative ground system.

If you have access to the Web check out the VTR homepage under the
maintenence section. There is a terrific detailed step by step set of
instructions on how exactly to accomplish the conversion. It is very simple
and I plan to do so for my 64 Spitfire for the simple reason that if I EVER
end up in the boonies with a broken down Spit and enlist the help of a local
mechanic (doubtful but nevertheless a possibility) I do not want to risk
having some ham-fisted bonehead melt my wiring harness by crossing the leads
improperly (besides, have you tried to find a decent pos. ground radio these
days?).

Good luck.
