In the ongoing saga of the rebuild (TR 3) i discover that I have extras of
several items and am looking for a few others:
I have:
* a pair of TR4-A seats, red with white piping in good condition
* a TR 3 3A distributor minus the cap...sandblasted clean and ready for a
re-build
* 2 SU's from a TR 3 (1 3/4" I think but should check) also sandblasted
clean but not rebuilt
* Solenoid for a TR4 -TR 250 sandblasted and working
* TR 3 Smiths Tach.
* one (to spare) side curtain TR 3 wedge mount..still original but in
terrible condition...I may rebuild it just to practise for the two that
will go on the car.
I need:
* TR 2 /3 drivers side seat steel bucket (the non-folding one)
* a hinge or source for the hinge for a TR 3 glove box door...I've
remanufactured the easy parts (the aluminum facing and the plywood core)
but can't find a source for a suitable (as original as possible)
hinge...one option is to make that one too (the other parts look better
than the originals) (the DPO hacked through the original door to install a
radio...the hacking appears to have been carried out with a blunt
instrument)
* an EGR valve for a '74 TR 6. I had a source but have lost the info on
this one...
* about six million other items that I'll get to in future updates.
