As far as my faded memory serves me all 8 port heads are basically the same
with minor changes to valve/port sizes and spring configurations, The
blocks were recessed in later years for the 'improved type" head gasket but
the heads should all bolt right up. It's been a while since Iv'e looked at
them but there should be a "stanpart number" of the casting which can be
used to identify the family-somebody else on the list might be able to help
here.
