Mr. Bouchard,
        I've heard of disconnecting the vancumme and not disconnecting it;
I didn't when I set mine, although I set it by ear. Do you have a timing
light? In many cases, my car-friends don't use a light and just listen to
the engine as they turn the distributor. Understanding it says 4xATDC@idle,
I'd still set it by ear since you'll probably get pretty close to the
correct timing. Anyone else? Hope this helps!

(Finally-something that I have some clue as to what I'm talking about!)
