I would be reluctant to purchase new bumpers from a supplier unless sure they
are new old stock. The new are likely to have a lighter gauge steel and
chrome of a lesser quality than the original. Besides, if we don't support
the traders in used parts, they will go out of business and then we will be
at the mercy of the new parts people. They need to be supported too, but the
used is essential to keep around.
I'd rather get a used one and rechrome if necessary.
