Al in TR4 heads

I went out in the garage and checked the push tubes with a magnet, and
they are steel.  When I had the valves redone two years ago, the shop
hot-tanked the head.  The only apparent negative effect was the appearance
of slight, but annoying, leaks from several of the push tubes.  I intend
to try and have them peened or otherwise sealed next time I have the head
off.
