TR-6 speedo cable routing

Can anyone tell me the correct routing for a Overdrive equippedTR-6 (LHD)
speedo cable?  I know it comes off the right side of the O/D unit and ends up
coming up thru a hole on the left side of the engine compartment, then thru the
firewall; it's the run in-between that I am not sure about.  Also is the speedo
cable secured to the frame or body at any point?
