I am preparing to reassemble the body on my TR2, and I currently have
access to many areas which will be inaccessible after the car is
reassembled. These include the area behind the "B" posts, the inside of
the door sills, etc.

While I have access to these areas, I want to do as much as I can to
protect them against future corrosion. I see difficulty here, especially
in areas which will be welded. For example, how do you treat the mating
surfaces of two panels which will be spot-welded together? Are there
compounds which can be applied before welding which will survive the
welding process, and not interfere with bonding? For areas which will
not be welded (like the inside of the rocker panels) what is
recommended?

Thanks
