TR6 dash console help...

Does anyone have any bright ideas as to how to get the center console back
into a TR6?  I only put one layer of insulation under the carpet and that
should compress to @ 1/8".  I've tried levering it in w/ a screwdriver,
banging on it w/ BFH (not too hard).  Right now I am beat!  Wonder if I
could get a jack in there....  Any advice welcome and appreciated.
