I think it sounds like a great idea to include dessicant with stored
parts. How about putting it inside the hollow parts of the frame and body
of the car so as to inhibit condensation and subsequent rust during
storage and after driving in wet road conditions?
BTW you can purchase "Drierite" pellets of dessicant material
from Fisher Scientific for about $20/5 lbs. (Cat#07-577-1B). If you place
an order, you might also consider some of their vinyl disposable gloves
for greasy work (Cat#11-393-27 Large size Pk. of 100 pair). Fisher can

pay using a major credit card, and you may have to describe the use
planned for the drierite.
