Fellow Scions-

I recently received a solicitation to apply for Juno E-mail, a new, totally
free E-mail service. It's supposed to have ads to support it, although I
haven't seen any yet. If you notice from my address, I haven't switched my
TR List subscription to this service yet either, because I'm still checking
it out. It does seem OK so far, though.

They promise that the ads will remain in a window and not obscure your access
to whatever you're reading or composing, sort of like a roadside billboard.
The software is free, and they encourage you to share it with others. The
package even has a built-in menu choice to attach a copy of the Juno software
to a post and send it to a friend, to encourage a large subscriber base
quickly.

Anyway, if anyone is interested in trying this service, post me and I'll
shoot you a copy of it. All the usual warnings apply; I have no connection
with Juno, but it does seem like a good deal -- YMMV.
