Ross, On a Spitfire 4, the top was stowed in the boot when it was not up. The whole shebang came off. The "sticks" that made up the hood frame went into tubular holders in the body. The hood frame on an early Spit does not bolt to car body. I think I MAY have a spare set of Mk2 (same as 1) hood sticks, if you need them. Larry |
