Sounds like a taper pin to me. Had same problem with my TR4A. Rebuilt
hydraulics, readjusted shaft to the clevis pin, took out all play. Still, had
to bury foot in floor board to avoid crunching synchs. Found out about taper
pin to the throw out fork. Apparently, it's a "Triumphism". I've got the new
pin, but it's fall in the Ozarks, 75 degrees and every color in the rainbow.
This will have wait until winter.
