Hi there Clarks,
 Glad to hear from you.
Sorry I left out the date, I posted the message about 3:00 A.M. this
morning. So hope you'll forgive the oversight.
The date is October 14 for the drive. Most people (at least from El Paso)
will be going up Friday night.
The High Rolls Apple Festival is also that weekend. Time permitting, we
may hit that on Saturday also. If not, and enough people are interested,
we'll do it early Sunday to allow plenty of drive time to get home before
too late.
I don't have a head count yet, but quite a few of us are going from EP.
Also, at this time, about six or seven from Las Cruces, at least 5 or 6
from Alamogordo, and four from the Ruidoso/Cloudcroft area.
You know, the El Paso Club originally started the rendesvous that the
Albq. club now puts on. The only problem we have is that this year, the
Rio Grande Regional is in Taos, almost a 500 mile drive from here.
We are going to use this gathering as a seed event to re-establish
an annual event in the Ruidoso area every year. We need to get input and
ideas from everyone to do it right. The same old events every year, get a
little stale after a while.
The Ruidoso Chamber of Commerce is behind us and is offering their
facilities is we choose to use them.
The time for this event is excellent for Britcarz since most of us have
heaters but few have a/c. Should be a lot of fun.
Hope to see you there.
Tony R.
