Yep.  in 1982 I moved into the first house I ever *owned*.  It was in the bad 
neighborhood of a poor section of town, but it was *cheap*.

I was worried about my Bentley, as there was no garage.  A friend at work (who 
lived in the expensive part of another, more upscale town) offered to let me 
leave it in *her* driveway.

There, the mascot was stolen and the rear window broken.

I brought it back home, and never had another bit of trouble (of that kind, 
with that car..)

Go figure.
