Hi,

I'm not an expert in this area either, but I suppose there must be some mention
of this topic in the "competition preparation manual" for the TR4.

I did learn something earlier this year from the TR6 comp. man., that being
that Kastener recommends a single biggish downpipe, I think it was 2.5 or 3
inch in diameter. This seemed strange to me, because the ex Group 44 TR6
vintage racer had what looked like 2 3 inch pipes going all the way to the back
of the car.

As for the comments about Jeff Rust's TR6, it does sound nice, and the Super
Trapps give you the ability to tune them to be more quiet for the long trips as
well as tweaking them for extra performance. This tunability is a big plus in
my book.

If I was going to try to tune for perfomance, I'd probably go Super Trapp.

I'd def. stay away from Monza (they are too loud for long trips.)
