Those are Girling casting numbers, possibly part numbers.

I have no cross references for them.

304170 is =C2=BE=E2=80=9D bore =E2=80=93 I believe this is the size on =
my Tiger.

Subject: [Tigers] rear brake wheel cylinders

=20

Hello,

=20

I have a collection of similar rear wheel brake cylinders that look =
identical.=20

They do have different bore sizes and a different part number cast into =
the body.

=20

The smaller bore is cast 304170

The larger is cast 304270

=20

I believe the smaller cylinder 304170 is correct.

Any idea what the larger one goes to?

=20

BTW: years ago, Tod Brown gave me a box of wheel cylinders to clean up. =
He said, go ahead and keep a couple for spares..
