Joel,

The two holes on the floor are to mount the strap that holds the tool =
roll.  I wasn=E2=80=99t aware that the holes had captive nuts though.  =
Don=E2=80=99t know what the other, vertical, holes are for.  I know that =
the Alpine tool roll mounted vertically at about that position.  The =
vertical holes may be an Alpine artifact.

I have a couple of mystery holes on the drivers side of the trunk.  =
Actually 2 sets - one set in the floor that have captive nuts, very =
small and 1 set on the bulkhead - no captive nuts.  What are these used =
for?  Please see attached pictures.
