I always laugh at the guys with more modern cars, stock with massive =
power already (relative to our cars), who "chip" their cars. I mean, =
what's the point? They don't have "enough" power already to do serious =
damage to themselves or others? They don't have "enough" power to have =
fun? Blast freeway on ramps? If they were truly RACING and needing =
extra power down the stretch or out of the corners because the other =
cars have that fraction of a second on them, OK, maybe it makes sense. =
BUT, if they were really RACING, head to head racing, not just track =
days, that means there are classes. And rest assured, a chipped car is =
going to be in the full modified class - which means a chip alone ain't =
going to make you competitive - you'd need full racing suspension, =
stripped dead weight, etc., etc.=20
