Nope, fraud is not acceptable and that isn't my issue. I just get tired
of the folk who see a car that is not restored but is highly modified
comment on the bad taste the car is, the driver had no cause to do that,
etc. Who do we think we are to judge what folk do with and for or to
their vehicles? If we don't appreciate them, why bother to comment on
them? If the car or owner offends then just hit delete, eh? No, Theo,
you are not on my culprit list.

Now, regards that car and the fraud aspect of it. Has anyone here on
this list called the police in that municipality and told them it is a
fradulent vehicle sale? If not, why not? Is it not a crime to do such a
sale? Did anyone contact the seller and inform them that the vehicle
was not as seems because of the vin number? The point is, if we do
nothing but complain to ourselves on the list aren't we a bit
hypocritical? Do we need to show that we are knowledgeable about that
sort of thing to ourselves? Does it add creds to our own legends? If we
all saw a street crime in progress, we would call the police, wouldn't
we. Without getting on the list and telling everyone what we saw. We
would just do it cause it is the right thing to do. So, when the first
person saw the in did he get involved? Would I have? Probably. I think
it is a manifestation of Facebook mentality...can't do anything without
letting a zillion people know about it.

Aw, crap anyway. Not important in the least. I must have had a bad hair
day... Yeah, that's it. Salt flats car is getting to me...
