If you look at the top of the flared rear wheel well you will see a convex 
body line running to the rear of the car. That is to the round T-Bird tail 
light.  If memory serves me correct there were fiberglass 55-57 T-bird 
replica kit one could buy. This probably is one of those. That would help to 
explain the firewall.
