Sorry to hear about your misfortune with you servo rebuild.
I don't know if you repaired this yourself, or had it done. In either
case, it was not reconditioned properly, and the costs were not worth
the results. There could, of course, be wear or broken parts, that
would have made a competent rebuilder NOT touch it without good original
parts.
We know you have had a number of references to known experienced
rebuilders. Apparently you chose another, and should take the problem
back to him. Unfortunately, if he does not know what he is doing, it is
unlikely you will get a re-rebuild better than the original rebuild.
This list has a marvelous advantage of actual experience with shops and
self work, and when you ask for recommendations, that experience should
not be ignored without adequate experience with other sources.
