Mark,

Just realized you were using the Professional Race Mufflers (Delta
Force) 2 chamber. It did not occur to me, as these are the loudest ones
they make, by far, although compact.

Most Flowmaster users are complaining that the 30-40 series are too loud
for daily use, and will drive you nuts on long trips (aside from
catching the ear of the guys in blue.)

For sanctioned racing applications, most amateur and professional
organizations have established distance/loudness maximum's that most of
the Flowmaster's have difficulty meeting. For instance they will set a
speed / distance / decibel limit and test each entrant to it. As I badly
recall, it's something like 90 db at 80 mph and 100 ft. Just a grab set
of numbers, which could vary by organization. (Except, maybe drag racing
on San Fernando Blvd.)

If this is a concern to anybody, it would be worthwhile talking to other
racers to find out what will pass.

Sorry for bothering you with the OTHER Flowmaster's, but thought that
others would want to know.
