Steve,

You must definitely use a special limited slip differential oil. Check
your 4x4 dealer for the current recommended lubricant for DANA.  The
VERY best was sold by Ford, but contained whale oil. You can imagine
what happened to that product.  Understand it is still available in New Zealand.
