    I recently purchased a Snap on bubble flare tool to flare a line for my
brake booster.  It was a 3/8 line. It did not work. The pipe slipped out of
the clamp. The sheet gluded to the inside of the lid lists the tube sizes
metric.  Snap on says they do not make a bubble flare tool for non metric
lines .(at least here in Canada).
