Tom,
Thanks for the vacuum advance tip. I knew I was quite conservative with
that 20 deg (crank) advance on the vacuum side, but I lack that
non-stock vacuum/boost gauge I used to have, and really don't know
where I am under driving conditions.
I have heard exactly the high 40's mentioned, so maybe I'll take out
that allen wrench and crank it a bit. You know, until the engine
breaks, then back off one. {9->
