The mounting points for the bumpers bolts are relatively thin metal
and can be mechanically moved fairly easily. I used a long steel pry bar
that fit into the jack horn which is just under the bumper mounting points
and applied force to move the mounting point. I also used a pipe on the
bumper mounting bolt to change the angle of the bumper. It took some time
but I was able to center and position the bumpers correctly and change the
angle so that the bumper were nearly horizontal on the upper surface.
There are spacers to mount the bumpers. There is a rubber gasket
to seal out dust and water and an aluminum tube spacer about 1 inch long, I
believe, that spaces the bumper away from the body at each bumper mount.

Jay,
I noticed that my front bumper on my Tiger had been pulled in the
center. This, as you said, caused the bumper to face down. I mounted another
bumper I had laying around that looks straight. Once mounted I noticed one
side is too close to the car and this bumper also faces down (not as bad
though). Do I need new mounts or can I switch my mounts around? I can have
my machine shop guy make new brackets or get them from SS. Could even get
the shop to repair mine.
My rear bumper gets in the way of removing the trunk key. Anyone have
this problem? If so, What did you do to fix it?
