Dave,
Many years ago (WW 2), my father was involved selling Stanley tools to
loggers in Washington State. A logger customer friend, bashed his gas tank
and was completely isolated, many miles away from help. He used a set of
oxy/aceteline welding tanks to supply fuel to get back to civilization: he
ran the hose from the back seat of his car, thru the window, and thru the gap
of the hood on the safety latch, into the carburetor. Amazing, eh?
