Yeah, we don't want sand in our joints, either. {9->
Actually, it is not the O-ring seals we worry about. They are actually greased
pretty well. It's all those polymers and structural carbon fiber bonds we worry
about.
Oh yes, the customer doesn't want the letters U S A F falling off on launch,
either. {9->
