If anyone is thinking of using a GM alternator to replace the pathetic generator in their Tiger, I posted the wiring that I used on my web site. http://users.ids.net/~tigerpb/tiger_pages/Page_1x.html Click on the links to the diagram and schematic. I used the 2 wire type GM alt., which allows the retention of the red igniton light on the Tiger dash. I also used a volt meter in place of the ampmeter. A '73 TR6 unit is a good fit and the typeface is very similar. |
