Steve, the rear end with the springs, as a unit is Really Heavy. I removed mine myself and it was a rear bear. Used a trolley jack under the differential, which helped move it around. Good luck. Larry PS - Jags are a very common source of Dana 44's, and Jag shops are familiar with rebuilds of these units, if you don't have a mechanic to do the work of setting up the rear end. Jeep dealers also work on posi Dana 44's. |
