Ansen Automotive was a BIG supplier of after market speed equipment in the early
days here in L.A. He also prepared Offenhauser and other engines for dirt track
racing. Used to look at the 1500 cc Offy engines on his showroom floor and
wonder how I could get enough loot to put it in my MG TD. What a hoot that
would have been, at 15 times the value of the new car.
