When wiring a fuel pump switch, be sure and install a fuse.
Fuses... those things that Tigers have only two of.
CAT had a great article years back about fusing a Tiger to
make it less fire prone. It bears repeating. The fuses can
be made up using Lucas connectors from SS. Then they
simply attach at the main wiring harness union under the
dash on left. Pull the connector, substitute the fuse in.
Reconnect the line to the fuse. And you're done.
NO wiring changes necessary.
I once had a Tiger stop by for some electrical advice.
He was blowing so many fuses he had substituted a
No. 10 machine screw for the fuse.
