Doug, Re:"NASCAR uses it to hold lug nuts inplace." I think they use threads. The ones on the wheel studs. For intake end seals I use RTV. Have for years, probably a dozen engines. Works very well when you are trying various manifolds on an engine dyno. Cork takes a set and with minor clearance changes between various manifolds cleaned up heads you get more problems than solutions. Regards, Jim B9470139 |
