Frank, Well done on the Modine core.....you will like it. Before you go ripping heads off, pull your plugs and inspect them for oil fouling. As I am sure you know, overheating destroys the tensile strength of the rings. But quite honestlly, though 245 degrees is hot enough to boil over, I rather doubt it is hot enough to cook your mill.
