Windshields are perishable.
We bought a new one for our Series II Alpine when we thought our son was going
to follow through on the project ten years ago. Last spring when I went to
fish it out of the shed and put it on the car, I found it had turned to
junk--about two to two and a half inches of nasty delamination all around the
thing.
If you don't need a windshield today, do not buy a windshield today.
