On a funny night of Television, with Seinfeld's very last episode of his
wonderful show, the night of entertainment is crushed by the death of Frank
Sinatra at 10:50pm of the same night.

Being a great fan of Big Band music, and popular standards from such great
artists as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Rosemary Clooney, and others with such
unbelievable soul and feeling for the songs that they sang, I will miss his
music deeply. Although I'm only 38 years old, and come from the era of early
Acid Rock, and 70/80's arena Rock and Disco, I always preferred the Big Band
Jazz of 40's.
During the Early and Mid 80's, I had the wonderful opportunity to see a
variety of legendary performers just prior to the death. I feel very fortunate
to have seen them when I did. This has included Sonny Stitt, Buddy Rich, and
couple of others I can't remember at the moment. But the most significant one
was the last and final tour of the Rat Pack which included Dean Martins next to
last performance before he dropped out of the tour (replaced by Liza Minnelli).
>From that performance, Sammy Davis Jr., was dead with in a couple of months,
Deano a little later, and I believe that this was also Franks last tour, but he
may have performed at Vegas after that.....But now he is gone as well.

I realize that this has NO sunbeam content, I just felt a need to write it.
It is truly a sad day for me. Not only was I subjected to a spinal injection
which hurt like hell, but now this is forever associated with the death of Frank
Sinatra. Music has always meant a great deal to me. When I had my 65 Alpine,
my 8-Track was always playing Big Band music, including several of Franks
tapes....My record, tape and CD collection will live on for me, and my son...

He absolutely, did it his way.....
and will be missed.
