Tom,

I think the DMV would want to know the year of the engine, as well as
the chassis, as the CARB regulates the newer of the two. Unless you are
already registered, and change later. In that case, I supppose, it's
"Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and Don't Do It in Public" {8-o
