California SB 42

For CA Cats:  CA Senator Kopp's bill to exempt cars 25 years old or older 
is now headed for the State Assembly Transportation Committee very soon. 
Chair is Kevin Murray <kevin_murray@assembly.ca.gov>.  The Assembly home 
page lists other members.  SB 42 could die there, so keep up the 
pressure.  After the Trans. Comm., it goes to the Assembly Appropriations 
Committee, the full Assembly and then to the Gov., who has stated that he 
will sign it.  Contact Murray and your assembly person ASAP.
