Highway Patrol Convention in Eureka

Is it true that the highway patrol is holding a stolen vehicle
conference in Eureka, CA sometime in June?  Heard there would
be hands on demonstrations on identifying non-original VIN tag
rivets.

Sure glad I decided to leave those Alpine tags on my Alger.

Sorry.  As a point of reference, I believe in Nebraska it is o.k.
to own a vehicle with an altered VIN, just not legal to sell one.
Helps a lot doesn't it.
