If memory serves me correctly, the Buick / Olds 215 come in around 320-330
lbs.
The Buick and Olds ARE different. I believe it is the Buick that has more
"potential" due to similaraties to the Buick v-6 engines, and their
associated hardware. Also, I think Buick made a 300 cubic inch v-8 engine (
cast iron block/aluminum heads ) These heads ( I think ) can be used on the
215, and also the crank with minor modifications. I believe with proper
modifications, these engines can be enlarged to around 305".
