IF your Tiger hasn't been tampered with over the past 30 years, the fasteners
are Unified nuts and bolts, which means that they are interchangeable with
our SAE stuff but not exactly the same. There is an exception.
Each Sunbeam of the era has one Whitworth bolt. No one is allowed to tell
you where it is or what it's used for. Discovery of it is a rite of passage
as a Sunbeamer. You may notice at gatherings of owners, one guy will make a
certain small hand gesture and another will acknowledge with an affirmative
response. This is like the secret fraternal handshake among the cognoscenti.
If and when you locate it, you will understand.
