I've got a question regarding proper assembly of the carpet hold down clips
I purchased from Sunbeam Specialties. How do I use these things? I don't
have any existing carpeting to use as an example of how the factory did
this. I'm guessing that the ring with 4 sharp prongs is pressed down
through the carpet material and the assembly with the internal snap ring
is placed over the prongs (concave side up) which are now on the underside
of the carpet. With that done the prongs would be bent over and the snap
ring assembly fastened down to the snap buttons that are screwed to the
floor metal. Does this sound right???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
