First, he knows the West coast quite well and would likely have some
thoughts on shipping arrangements.
Second (and how to phrase this delicately?), he's probably "unsettled"
enough to drive the A40 Wisconsin for you. He drives about a gazillion miles
a year (most of it in the world's most well-used Morris Minor) and would
likely consider the drive to Wisconsin "a nice jaunt"..
