In Bill's vein:

I have used pin vises with good results.  Even the big, Aluminum ones
can be chucked up in a standard 1/2" drill press and used.
The pin vise sets can be used with the tiny drill bits sets.
You can find "import" pin vise sets cheap.

If you were closer I have an 8" Craftsman drill press I would donate.
But, for the cost of shipping you can probably get a similar machine
from Harbor Freight.
