The Optima batteries have the terminals well placed as Frank describes. http://www.optimabatteries.com/optima_products/redtop/index.php They are very expensive but they are really good batteries. I still like a tray. I bought one from Autozone and cut it down to look like the one that Moss sells. -----Original Message----- From: spridgets-bounces@autox.team.net [mailto:spridgets-bounces@autox.team.net] On Behalf Of Frank Clarici Cc: Spridget list Subject: Re: [Spridgets] Pinky Update The original batter had the posts near the firewall, this is why many firewalls have the same rusted out hole near the battery posts. Get a battery with the positive on the outboard side and on the left. This will keep the posts away from the firewall and will be correct for your Sprite now that is is negative ground. Group 24 is the size. No need for a box if you get the battery with the posts away from the wall. _______________________________________________ Donate: http://www.team.net/donate.html Suggested annual donation $12.75 Archive: http://www.team.net/archive Forums: http://www.team.net/forums |
