I agree, but I have not yet changed the timing belt on Trish's 1990. I can 
assure you that I have never seen such a bunch of people so hung up on 
illogical "cause and effect" issues as Miata people. They will swear that 
they can feel the difference of 1 psi in their tires on the street.

If I were in the market for a Miata, I would be looking for a 1995 for the 
sake of the 1.8 engine, the lack of OBDII, the barndoor headlights, and the 
stiffer chassis than the 1.6 cars had. An R-Spec woulf be nice, but 
unrealistic.

As said before, if it HAS to be an autotragic, buy an 07.
Otherwise a 92 to 95 5-speed is a great car.
