On the hood.
You can loosten the two screws that hold the fenders to the front core
support, and spread the fenders wider.  Mine was off enough, I had to remove
the screws entirely and slot the holes.  As for front to back, the spring
and pin latch attatched to the hood sometimes gets bent.  Grab it with a
pair of channel locks or vise grips and "adjust" until it lines up with the
latch without pushing the hood rearward.
