Thanks folks for the welcomes! I appreciate the enthusiasm.

First things first. Going to hash out the the "no brake" and "no start" 
situation over the next couple of weeks. I'll keep notes, as best I can, 
and post problems and fixes. And on first roll, beverages for everyone!
